WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • RETAILERS  Trading Posts and other shops from across the region. You  can stay for the whole day, but from 9-12 the market will be open exclusively  to buyers, allowing for one on one time to review products. For Retailers this event provides the opportunity to source a variety of products crafted in the PA Wilds in one location. There will also be the opportunity to learn about joining the Wilds Cooperative and purchasing wholesale PA Wilds branded soft goods, such as T-shirts and hats. Open to members and non-members of The Wilds Cooperative.
  • SHOPPERS – from 1-4 members of the general public can attend and purchase goods crafted in the PA Wilds. There will be no entrance fee for the general public.
  • PRODUCERS – Art, wares, food and beverage producers in the PA Wilds looking to sell their goods in and connect with retail outlets. This is your chance to reach multiple retailers in one location. And to focus your presentation on special product lines geared toward different shop locations (ex: Elk themed toward the Elk Country Visitors Center, Star Gazing for retailers in/near Cherry Springs/Dark Skies, Train/Kinzua Skywalk for Kinzua Bridge State Park, etc.).
Booth space is a 10x10 area and (2) 8-foot tables will be provided.  Set-up/break down time will be limited (a strict 2 hour limit for both), so this is not the time to bring out everything you have ever created in mass quantities to get rid of it. Instead producers should put together a curated product line geared toward your ability to reproduce for the upcoming season. The buyers will be a mix of those buying wholesale and those with consignment arrangements. The PA Wilds Conservation Shop at Kinzua Bridge State Park is using this as their time to order goods for the summer/fall season. Open to members (Basic and Professional Level)  and non-members of The Wilds Cooperative Non-members looking to join will be able to use this as part of the jury process. Non-members must still meet the eligibility guidelines for joining the Wilds Cooperative of Pennsylvania as listed in the Member Guidelines. You can view a copy here.
NON-MEMBER PRODUCERS PLEASE NOTE: You must apply for membership to The Wilds Cooperative first, once you have completed the membership application you can then register for the event as an Artisan in Review.  You can join here.
The Wilds Cooperative of Pennsylvania is a program of the PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship, a regional non-profit. Find them online at facebook.com/pawildsTreps or Twitter @pawildsTreps
