I started wood working by building houses as a hobby and the cabinet making was what I liked the best. For the most part I am self taught with a few classes thrown in. I have found finishing projects primarily from wood to be both relaxing and rewarding. I wanted to expand my wood working beyond cabinetry, which the Artisan Trail has given me the opportunity. Furniture and boxes from an artist's point of view will be the direction I will pursue. Most of the wood for the projects are grown, harvested, sold and worked in the Pennsylvania Wilds. I regularly have pieces at the ECCOTA gallery in Ridgway, PA and at the Elk Country Visitor Center in Benezette, PA.
